Who’s the Show Stopper Here?
(as part of DRUSBA)
Rostokino Gallery
One day we met and realized that we both belong to the descendants of buffoons. Persecuted jesters, jokers, hooligans, people of free morals, dancers, singers and public favorites — this is what our ancestors became famous for in Rus'.

Having collected bits of recordings, artifacts and all possible information, transmitted mostly by word of mouth, we united to hold a show of jokes, irony and sarcasm.

Call our lair whatever you want: a traveling circus, a gathering, or even a secret order of underground buffoons, the essence remains the same — we mentally take you by the hand and share sacred knowledge about what a buffoon joke is today.

Who among you will say: "Yes, I myself know more about jokes than you!", and we will answer simply and bluntly, just as our ancestors used to express themselves to everyone who dared to compete with them in wit: "Don't teach me to dance, I’m a buffoon myself!"
