Materials: polymorphous, pigment, golden potala

I’m standing in the kitchen, cooking polymorphus. I scoop up two heaping tablespoons and drop them into a pot of boiling water. It’s distorted by the temperature. My perception of hot water is also distorted, it doesn’t burn my hands as much anymore. It’s a matter of habit.
